- Experienced in troubleshooting control systems such as PLCs and HMIs in diverse environments to ensure proper equipment function .
- Provide comprehensive on-site customer support, addressing inquiries and assisting with technical questions effectively.

Leadership and maintenance competencies
- Experience supervising and coordinating maintenance activities, leading a team of technicians and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently .
- Knowledge and skills in maintenance practices, equipment troubleshooting and repairs to guide and support your team .
- Experience implementing and managing preventive maintenance schedules, ensuring equipment and systems are regularly serviced to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency .
- Analyze issues, identify root causes and develop effective solutions to minimize interruptions and optimize equipment performance .
- Effective communication with other departments, stakeholders and vendors; collaborate with different teams, manage work orders and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks while maintaining a safe, productive work environment.
PLC, automation and project competencies
- Programming Allen Bradley, Siemens and CompactLogix PLCs in various languages .
- Migration and peripheral automation
- Mechanical troubleshooting and project management .
- Knowledge of programmable logic controller programming and control systems
- Ability to fix equipment failures and test complex systems .
- Familiarity with machinery safety and risk assessment .
Industrial maintenance competencies
- Electrical and/or mechanical maintenance in manufacturing plants, preferably food.
- Understanding mechanical properties such as gearboxes, chains, sprockets and lubrication principles.
- Mechanical and electrical design.
- Development, implementation and improvement of preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Repair of defective equipment and damaged structures
- Managing heating and plumbing systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Planning and scheduling repairs.
- Performing regular quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure compliance.
- Carrying out general maintenance tasks such as landscaping, painting and carpentry.
- Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) .
Engineering and design competencies
- Experience working with CAD software and knowledge of 3D modelling software such as SolidWorks .
- Design, installation and maintenance of large-scale industrial equipment
- Knowledge of industry safety regulations and standards (OSHA regulations and ANSI standards)
- Strong communication skills for coordinating effectively with other teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.

- Continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
